So, what is Dehumidification, and what does it have to do with the Air Conditioning and Heating field?
Well, Dehumidification is Air Conditioning. When an Air Conditioner is operating in the cooling mode, it is actually removing humidity from the air.
In many areas of the world that may not seem so important, but, in very humid areas such as Texas, Florida, and California, excess humidity can cause many Indoor Air Quality issues such as mildew or accelerated mold growth. Proper operation of an air conditioning system in areas such as these is vital--to the health of the residents, as well as the well-being of the building.
